| We are an American couple with Irish roots that would like to live in Ireland for 18 months to two years in either County Cork or County Mayo starting in spring of 2005. We are looking for a large house, ideally with a barn/stable and adequate grazing and fencing for two horses we would bring with us. We would like to be within 2 1/2 hours of Dublin airport and preferably on the coast with access to beaches. We would consider letting to own if available. We expect to have a young baby and would also bring with us our extremely well behaved labrador retrievers (obedient, non-chewers, non-diggers) who are outside dogs and would sleep in the barn. We are non-smokers. Would consider a house swap - we have a new timber frame 6 bedroom, 5 1/2 bath house in Steamboat Springs, Colorado with magnificent views of one of Americas greatest ski mountains (lots of fresh light powder), 5 minutes away. |
